Dane County is inviting bids for construction services to build a 37’ x 52’ timber shelter at Indian Lake County Park atop an existing concrete slab with concrete piers.  Work consists of timber milling, timber construction, electrical work, stone masonry(at existing piers), and corrugated metal roofing.  Stone masonry work will also be included at a restroom facility on site, with two piers to match the work on the shelter.  Dane County will be providing timber cants to be milled to specified dimensional sizes by contractor/subcontractor.  Only firms with capabilities, experience, and expertise with similar projects should obtain this packet and submit bids.

A prebid site tour is scheduled for Wednesday, November 23rd @ 2:00 PM, starting at 8183 Highway 19 in Cross Plains, WI.  Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this tour.
